Memora Support

Guidance for preparing an official export, selecting files and completing a local import into Apple Photos.

Get your official export

Request and download your official data export directly from Snapchat. Memora works with the files you choose from that export and never asks for your Snapchat password.

Select ZIP files

In Memora, choose one or multiple export ZIP files from the Files app. Keep the files available until the preflight scan and import have completed.

Photos permission

Allow access to Apple Photos only when you are ready to import and verify. This access is used for the import you request and the resulting verification report.

Storage space

Before starting, make sure your iPhone has enough free storage for the memories you plan to add to Apple Photos. The preflight scan helps you understand the size and composition of the selected export.

Interrupted imports

If an import is interrupted, supported sessions can continue from recorded progress instead of beginning from the start. Keep the selected export files available before resuming.

Importing the same export again

Memora uses available identifiers, metadata and fingerprints to detect previously processed memories before creating another copy. Review the verification report after an import.
